Retta, the owner and inspiration for Aella Salon has been in the industry since 1999, starting as a nail technician before going back to school for hair and graduating in 2000. Now, no longer working directly with guests behind the chair, Retta enjoys nurturing talent within the company. She specializes in teaching cutting techniques and consulting, but her greatest passion is helping staff grow financially to live their best lives. Outside of work, Retta enjoys the gym, boating, and traveling. She believes life is all about lessons, laughter, and loving what you do. There is nothing better than a group of motivated team players to make a company feel like a home away from home.
